HOW DO I . . .

BECOME A CHRISTIAN
The term Christian as used in scripture refers to individuals identified by their behavior and conversations as being disciplined and committed to following Jesus Christ. This commitment begins when we acknowledge and accept Jesus’ atoning work on the cross. The result is us being saved from the penalty of sin.
Salvation is for everyone. Even now you can confess and ask the Lord to forgive you of all your sins, accept you as His own and write your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life and you will be saved. Even though you are saved from the time you confess your sin and believe, we invite you to participate in the next available altar call so someone can join you in this prayer for your life, and commit to assisting you in becoming a disciplined follower of Christ.
RESPOND TO ALTAR CALL
One of the most important segments of services at Greater Shiloh is the Altar Call. It is a deliberate invitation to profess faith in Jesus Christ to forgive sin, heal infirmities or sickness, deliver from distress, set free from bondage, or meet other needs in answer to believing prayer. Even if the need is not yours we invite you to come on behalf of someone else. No one is above coming to the altar.
During the “altar call,” you may stand and remain at your seat but, are certainly free to come as close as possible to the area in front of the sanctuary.

GET BAPTIZED
We offer Water Baptism through immersion to anyone who has reached the age of understanding and thereby accountability, who accepts the Christian Faith.
Immersion represents an outward confession of inward conviction that we are one with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. It is a sacred ordinance and an act of dedication and commitment to Christian discipleship.

The Pastor will announce Baptism Service dates and times along with special instructions for anyone desiring to be baptized.
